And there is a time to laugh (Season Finale)

 Hospital drama

 Everywhere

 What can we do?

It owns every channel
It is the ivy of television
Creeping & creepy...
Love it

Hate it

I'm going to exploit it.

On Tuesday nights I play pen and paper role-playing games  and board games with my friends.

I am not ashamed.

I love those games.

And hospital drama on Tuesdays means my wife has something to do while we save the world in our communal imagination

It is her guilty pleasure.

One gulity pleasure for another.

I have no regrets.

It is a reciprocal relationship.

Doctors and Dungeons.

Grey's Anatomy and Gandalf.

A match made in heaven.

Here is a song I wrote in an attempt to tease the hospital-drama-hit-single.

Have a laugh with me.

This one's called 'Season Finale'

Could it be a hit?

Probably not...

Season Finale
(8-track demo)
(Words and music: Andrew Savage)

You want to make it easier
You've got to move between the lines
Days come on like an avalanche
Leaving us snowblind
It's not that I don't see the light
Shining from above
It's just that there's so little time
To rest in your love

And I am paralysed
Standing like a statue
Leave me if you want to
I didn't say you had to

Too many new directions
I want to travel every one
Counting up the days now
Till the final curtain comes
Too much too little
Too late
Not leaving it fate
I want everything and nothing
You've got to take what you can take

And I am paralysed
Standing like a statue
Leave me if you want to
I didn't say you had to
